COVID-19 - KNIGHTON AND DISTRICT COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROJECT

Since March 2020 all companies have had to change - we are no exception.
The Furniture Barn is now open for business / people donating & buying goods. However, please phone them direct on 01547 520444 to check if they are accepting the goods that you wish to donate.
The Town Connection Service - we are currently open for appointments, in & around Knighton town for any local hospital / doctors / dentist appointments and for shopping.
The Community Car Service - Due to Covid vaccinations / booster injections we are currently really busy, please therefore make sure you give as much notice as possible for any hospital appointment you wish to book transport for..

Please note for the Town Connection & Community Car Services we require all clients to :
Sanitise before entry into the vehicle,
Sit in the rear of the vehicle (Passenger side)
Wear a face mask/face covering
We must also ask you questions like : Have you currently got any cold/flu symptoms ? Have you had any loss of smell or taste ?
These questions will be asked when you make a booking & also our Community Car drivers will contact you the day prior to pick up to check / confirm again that you are cold or flu symptom free.
