What is it? We offer free IT Support to anyone who may need it. We give free training in how to use a laptop, computer, mobile or tablet. We offer basic training with one to one sessions and each session is adapted to the person.
Who does the training? Kirsten who is the Transport Co-ordinator runs the scheme. People can either come into the office and have a friendly and relaxed one to one session with her in an office environment, or if the person lives in Knighton (within walking distance) home visits can be arranged. We also offer help with your own personal devices. If you already own a mobile, a laptop or a tablet and are struggling to figure out how to use it or are having trouble learning the short cuts then we will adapt the session to you and make it personal to you and your device. Each session usually lasts around an hour and multiple sessions are optional.
How do I go about booking a session? Come into the office and speak to a member of staff and book there and then, alternatively you can call the office between 9.30-1.00pm and explain you are after computer help or just ask for Kirsten, or leave a message on the answering machine with your name and number and someone will get back to you.
